About

I’m a Jesus-follower, a husband-father, pastor-leader, theologian-trainer, singer-songwriter, and writer-blogger.

In my quest for excellence in publishing, this is my personal and official blog. It is focused on intentional life, holistic leadership, and personal productivity. I believe that if your life and leadership are intentional, you have to take the time to think through it and make the best out of it.

My goal in writing is always to help people receive insights and grow in every area of their lives. From time to time, I also discover—and re-discover—resources for intentional life and leadership. All of these are for the purpose of applying principles in your daily living.

If you are aiming for a purposive life and aspiring to become a productive leader, then this blog is designed for you. We can journey together.

I typically write blogs three to four times a week—in addition to my other duties of writing materials, books and articles in other publications. If you want to follow me, you can subscribe via RSS or email.

My Biography

I have been a leader for more than half of my life—I’m now in my early forties. I felt a spiritual calling to serve God when I was an elementary kid. Since then I followed that calling and did not have any regrets in life.

I studied in several seminaries and college, as well as did my doctorate dissertation about spiritual leadership. I served in various communities of faith and organizations for more than twenty years. I was also the founder and former CEO of GeNext School of Leaders Foundation, Inc. Currently, I am the Director of BCIP, a network of Christian churches affiliated with Bible Church International (BCI) New Jersey, USA.

My upcoming books are entitled:

  • Power Moves: How to Face Your Giants, Solve Problems, and Win
  • The Leadership of God: The Benevolent Rule of God and Its Influence on Your Leadership
  • Leadership Coaching: The Art of Mentoring Emerging Leaders

I have been married to my wife, Caroline, for fourteen years. We have three wonderful kids: Johnne Elliott, Grenz Joshua, and Angel Kaye. We live just beside the famed Camp John Hay, Baguio City—the Summer Capital of the Philippines.

Some of my hobbies are sketching, painting, photography, songwriting, hiking, walking through forests and watching documentaries.

My solo albums are:

  • Lighter Side (2000)
  • Relative Horizon (2001)
  • Across the Border (2005) in collaboration with Nugen & Chrusion
  • Missiophonics (2017)
